I scheduled an appointment for mobile service and received an email bright and early on the day of the appointment that the technician would be on the way from 8-12. 12 pm rolled around and there was never a call, text, or any other form of communication. I tried to call the shop but no one answered on three separate occasions. Called the corporate number and they couldn't get anyone to answer either. On the 5th call, I finally reached someone only to be informed that they had overbooked for the day and wouldn't be able to fix my car. Then had the nerve to ask if I would like to reschedule. I understand that things happen but the lack of professionalism and complete disregard for my time was ridiculous.

I broke my windshield while changing my wiper blades and booked a mobile appointment with Safelite. There were a few hiccups along the way — the mobile visit got switched to an in-shop visit late in the day, the price came in higher than the original quote, and the wait was about 3 hours instead of the 35–45 minutes I was originally told. What turned this around was the team. Maggie at the counter was kind and professional the entire time and was even able to bring the price down closer to what I was originally quoted. And Jacob, the technician, walked me through the whole process from start to finish so I knew exactly what was happening with my vehicle. Both of them made a frustrating situation end on a really positive note. If you have an issue with your service, ask for Maggie — she’ll take care of you.
